Traditionally a “Back Forty” experience was a journey to the forty acres of land that is remote from your normal activities. Frequently this was woods that encapsulated serene beauty, quietness, calm, majestic tranquility, and a place to seek rebirth of spirit.
One must find their own “Back Forty” for revival of spirit and for rewarding a job well done. This is sometimes more difficult in this era of the COVID-19 pandemic.
